Your company’s Admin has invited you to Swipey. Follow the steps below to get your account set up and your card ready to use. The whole process takes about 10 minutes.
Employees use Swipey via the mobile app only. You will not have access to the web dashboard.
Step 1: Check Your Email #
Look for an invitation email from Swipey in your inbox. It will contain your next steps and a link to get started.
Can’t find it? Check your spam or junk folder. If it’s not there, ask your Admin to resend the invitation.
Step 2: Download the Swipey App #
Download the Swipey mobile app on your phone.
Step 3: Log In #
Open the app and enter the email address and phone number you used when your Admin invited you.
Important: Do not tap “Register new account.” You already have an account — just log in with your invited email and phone number.
Step 4: Complete eKYC Verification #
Swipey will ask you to verify your identity. This is a one-time process required by Bank Negara Malaysia before you can use your card.
You will need:
- Your Malaysian IC (MyKad) or passport
- A selfie — taken in the app
Follow the on-screen steps to take a photo of your ID and a selfie. Make sure you are in good lighting and that your face is clearly visible.
Important: Your name must match exactly as it appears on your MyKad or passport — including spacing and spelling. A mismatch will cause your verification to fail.
Step 5: You’re In 🎉 #
Once your eKYC is approved, you’ll have full access to the Swipey mobile app. From here you can:
- View your card details and start spending
- Check your transactions
- Attach receipts to your transactions
- Freeze your card if needed

Common Questions #
My eKYC was rejected — what do I do?
You will be notified with the reason. The most common cause is a name mismatch or a blurry ID photo. Resubmit straight away making sure your name matches your MyKad or passport exactly and your photo is clear and well-lit.
I don’t have a Malaysian IC — can I use a passport?
Yes — a valid passport is accepted for eKYC verification.
How long does eKYC take?
Usually within a few minutes. If it takes longer than 24 hours, reach out to us on WhatsApp.
Can I log in on the web dashboard?
No — employees access Swipey via the mobile app only. The web dashboard is for Admins and Bookkeepers.
I haven’t received a card yet — what do I do?
Your Admin assigns cards separately. If you’ve completed your account setup but don’t have a card yet, check with your Admin.
